If you are visiting us at the Sonoran Sun resort in Puerto Penasco, Mexico you will find that there are various activities to do on the resort premises as well as just off the premises. One of the main activites on-site at the resort are the pools. If you enjoy swimming then you are in luck, as the Sonoran Sun resort offers some of the finest beach side pools in Rocky Point. Other on-site activities include surfing, web surfing that is, visit the computer room or get on your laptop and surf away on the resorts wireless internet. If you enjoy tennis, then you will want to visit the tennis courts at the resort. For many, tennis is a favorite activity on vacation so grab your racquets and head to the courts.

Just off site of the Sonoran Sun Resort one will find many other activities to take part in. If you enjoy riding quads, you will find that you can rent quads right outside the resort. Prices vary and are generally negotiable by the hour. You will need to supply a credit card and a photo ID in order to ride. It is important that when riding ATVs you practice safety and always wear a helmet which is provided to you as part of your rental. These ATV’s are not affiliated with the resort so riding is done so at your own risk.

Another favorite off site activity near the Sonoran Sun resort is banana boat rides. Generally the cost to ride a banana boat is $5.00 a person per ride with a life jacket included. Again, this activity is NOT affiliated with the Sonoran Sun resort so ride at your own risk and wear the provided life jacket. The best way to rent a banana boat is to walk right up to the operators and they will get you going on your ride.
